Karan’s Children’s Message
During the Worship Service on Sunday Aug 22, Karan did a Children’s Message about our Words. It related very well with Pastor Buster Sermon “Managing Your Mouth”. She presented a toothpaste tube then she squeezed out some of the paste. Asking the children to put the toothpaste back in the tube, they could not.
She compared this toothpaste to the words we say. Once they are out of our mouth, they cannot be taken back. So, it is important to think before we speak.

The Seekers – Sunday Morning Bible Study
Our Sunday Morning Bible Study, the Seekers is back. We started Sunday August 8th with a study on our Gifts and Talents then continued the next Sunday with Worship, Praise and Joy. After that we looked at the story of David and Goliath, Fighting Giants. One of the “seekers” in our study told us about a book she read and will bring it to share some excerpts from it. The Seeker study goes in many directions but it always has the Bible as its foundation.

Game Night
Every fourth Saturday at 6 p.m. join us for Family Game Night. We will have a great meal to start, so bring your favorite food for our fellowship hall table. After the meal we gather together in groups to play games. 42 and Mexican Train are among the favorites. Bring a Friend. Everyone is welcome.
