Dear Friends,
While we will miss Pastor Jacob Fields, we are delighted to announce our new pastor, Marc Corazao.
Marc was born in Lima, Peru, and raised in Houston, Texas. He has been serving in ministry in the North Texas Conference since 1996 in various capacities and ministry positions, including ministry with youth and families, those in poverty, and college students and young adults.
Marc is particularly passionate about exploring community, calling, and life with God among people of all ages as we listen for God’s voice together. He currently serves as Associate Pastor at First United Methodist Church of Lewisville, working in Adult Education and Community Outreach.
Marc has been married to his wife, Michelle, since 1997. They lovingly welcomed their first child, Ian Michael, in May of 2011. Their family is also blessed and complicated by their tabby cat, Aslan. In his downtime, Marc likes to spend time with his family, ride bikes, read, play volleyball, play guitar & ukulele, write, and cook. And eat. Marc really loves eating.
